Reclaim Your Silhouette, Restore Your Confidence

Full, shapely breasts can enhance a woman’s sense of beauty, confidence, and femininity. Breast augmentation is a cosmetic surgical procedure designed to enhance the size and shape of the breasts, resulting in a more balanced, curvaceous silhouette and a look that feels authentically you.

Advanced Tech, Less Pain:  The Next Generation of Surgical Placement

Dr. Severinac utilizes a state-of-the-art approach where Motiva® implants are placed beneath the outer fascia rather than under the pectoral muscle itself or as in the Preserve’ technique, in the breast “nest” of supportive tissue located just below the breast tissue.  These innovative methods provides the advantages of traditional submuscular placement—such as a natural contour and implant support—while reducing pain, accelerating recovery, and minimizing the risk of movement or discomfort during physical activity.

The Wait is Over:  FDA-Approved Motiva® “Gummy Gel” Implants

For nearly 30 years, Dr. Severinac primarily recommended saline implants, remaining cautious about the safety, longevity, and performance of earlier silicone options.  After hearing about the newest implant innovations at an international meeting over 10 years ago, he has waited for this moment:  The FDA approval of Motiva® silicone breast implants.   We are proud to be the first in the region to offer Motiva® implants and the Preservé™ technique at Indiana Plastic Surgery Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

At the core of Motiva’s unprecedented safety profile are its proprietary TrueMonobloc® and SmoothSilk® BioSurface technologies. Traditional implants feature separate components bonded together, creating weak points vulnerable to tearing. In contrast, Motiva’s TrueMonobloc® design chemically unifies the shell, patch, and gel into a single, cohesive unit that can withstand immense pressure and stretch without breaking. Complementing this structural integrity is the controlled SmoothSilk® nano-surface profile, which features a precise micro-texture engineered to interact seamlessly with your body. By mimicking natural cell dimensions, this advanced nano-surface minimizes internal friction and prevents chronic inflammation. Together, these mechanical and biological innovations have successfully driven device-related complication rates to under 1%, offering patients a dramatic, proven reduction in both implant rupture and capsular contracture.

The hallmark of the Motiva Ergonomix2® implant is its ability to perfectly mimic the behavior and physics of natural breast tissue. Standard cohesive gel implants hold a fixed, rigid shape regardless of your body’s orientation, which can look unnatural in certain positions. Ergonomix2® overcomes this with an ultra-soft, highly adaptable gel formulation that reacts dynamically to gravity. When you are standing upright, the gel flows downward to create a classic, soft teardrop profile with natural upper-pole fullness. The moment you lie down, the gel smoothly redistributes outward, allowing the breast to flatten naturally toward the sides just like native breast tissue. This fluid transition eliminates the rigid “stuck-on” appearance common with older silicone models, ensuring your results look, shift, and feel entirely authentic whether you are active, relaxing, or on vacation

  • These next-generation implants are trusted in over 86 countries with 1.8 million patients, and clinical studies have shown:

    • 🌟 97.1% patient satisfaction

    • 💎 Less than 1% device-related complications

    • 🌎 Proven safety and performance over 14+ years worldwide

With Motiva®, patients enjoy a soft, natural feel and beautiful contours, all while knowing their safety is at the heart of every surgical decision Dr. Severinac makes.

Motiva Preservé™: The Tissue-Sparing Revolution Performed Under Local Anesthesia

The Motiva Preservé™ procedure is a revolutionary, tissue-sparing breast augmentation technique utilizing advanced Ergonomix2® SmoothSilk® implants. It gently shapes an implant pocket through an expansion technique without cutting natural breast tissue, vessels, and nerves, or disrupting the chest muscle, offering patients a softer feel, natural movement, minimal scarring, and a faster, gentler recoveryIn Dr. Severinac’s Fort Wayne office, the Motiva Preservé™ procedure is performed under local anesthesia and oral sedation! Getting you back to your life in the most comfortable and efficient way possible!

The ideal candidate for the Motiva Preservé™ procedure is a primary augmentation patient with minimal to no breast sagging and good native skin elasticity. Because this advanced technique places the Ergonomix2® implant in a subglandular, pre-pectoral space without cutting tissue, it relies on your natural anatomy for support and coverage. Therefore, it is best suited for individuals who possess a sufficient amount of existing breast tissue to properly camouflage the implant and who are seeking a moderate, natural-looking volume enhancement.

Motiva Preservé™ is not for significant breast sagging, severe asymmetry, or constricted breast tissue, as these conditions typically require a formal breast lift or extensive internal tissue remodeling. Additionally, because the implant is placed above the chest muscle, patients with very thin native breast tissue lack the necessary coverage to seamlessly conceal the implant edges, making a traditional submuscular placement a better alternative. It is also unsuitable for complex revision surgeries or patients desiring a dramatic, oversized transformation that exceeds the supportive capacity of the existing natural tissue.

Saline Implants: A Flexible Option

Saline implants still offer unique benefits. They are:

  • Adjustable both during and after surgery

  • Easily monitored—no need for advanced imaging for rupture detection

  • Placed with smaller incisions, since they’re filled after insertion

For patients starting with a full B cup or greater, saline implants often match silicone in look and feel, with minimal rippling and excellent shape retention.

What About a Lift?

While augmentation can create a slight lifting effect, Dr. Severinac will personally assess your anatomy and goals to determine if a breast lift or combined procedure would offer the most satisfying and lasting results. Every patient receives a tailored surgical plan.
